REQUEST SERVICEEdward Schneider began his career after he graduated from Manhattan College and fulfilled his obligations to the Naval Air Corps in World War II. He established Schneider Fuel Oil Inc. where he delivered oil, serviced, and installed heating equipment and performed emergency oil burner service. In 1962, he acquired Town & Country Oil Corp. and became President and CEO.
Then, the next generation joined the team. John Schneider joined Town & Country Oil Corp. in 1969 after graduating from Spring Hill College with a major in mathematics and accounting. He then learned all facets of the oil business such as delivering fuel oil, servicing heating equipment, being active in sales, and eventually becoming operations manager. In 1978, he took over as President of Town & Country and remained in that roll through 2020 before taking over as CEO. In 1997, he acquired Regent Fuel Oil. He has been responsible for bringing the firm into the “Automated Wireless World” for both oil and service. His main function today is to get you the best possible price on heating oil by securing oil from our various vendors as well as overseeing the maintenance of our entire fleet.
Finally, we were pleased to welcome Brian Schneider, husband to his lovely wife Heather, father of three boys, John, Michael, Ryan, and his beautiful daughter Lachlan. Brian joined Town & Country in 2009. A graduate of Eckerd College, with a major in International Business and a minor in Business Management. He served as the Director of Marketing and Sales for Ramtex Sales Corporation for over 14 years. This experience helped make a seamless transition to oversee the Sales and Marketing Department of Town & Country Oil and Schneider Fuel. Brian was recently appointed President, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. As President, he will continue to run and oversee all facets of day-to-day business operations.
